Please click here to access the membership renewal page manually There are four kinds of membership: Professional Members are voting members of the General Assembly who are light practitioners, licensed to practice in their state or country, and also educators or certified teachers who utilize light in educational activities, researchers in the function and uses of light, designers or manufacturers of light instruments, artists who use light in their work and consultants or experts in the uses of light in the environment. Professional Members will have access to the “Member Area” of the website, will be listed as Light Practitioners or professional members (by country or state) on our website, will have reduced conference fees and are eligible to be on the council if elected.
Associate (Group) Members are non-voting, consulting groups which include organizations and educational institutions whose work is associated with light and its applications. They will have access to the “Member’s Area “ of the website and be listed as Group Members on our website. They may also link to our website in some fashion (to be decided by the General Assembly). Associate (Group) Members will have reduced table fees at conferences.
Affiliate Members are non-voting, consultative individuals. This group includes individuals who hold a strong interest in light and its applications but who do not fit into the other categories. They will have access to the “Members Area” of the Website and will be listed as affiliate members on our website. Affiliate Members will have reduced fees at conferences.
Student Members are non-voting, consultative members. They will have access to the “Member’s Area” of the website, and will be listed as student members on our website. Students must have current identification associating them with an educational institution. All students have reduced fees at conferences.
