ILA Conference 2009 in Kea, Cyclades / Greece
International Light group concludes eye-opening conference
Light and color – from where they pulse within the human spirit to the latest in advances for their therapeutic uses – radiated through the Sixth Annual International Light Association (ILA) Conference, held recently on the Greek Cyclades island of Kea.
From the start of the keynote address, entitled “Light, Vision and Consciousness, Unraveling the Mystery” by Jacob Liberman, O.D., Ph.D., D.Sc., the six-day conference launched nearly fifty attendees on a fast-paced journey of discovery In his search to understand how light affects the eyes, Liberman said he came to realize “the need to see the higher dimension of light, the light within us.”
Liberman, an optometrist, inventor, author and widely respected speaker, added, “I started out looking at how we are treating people with light for vision enhancement, but ultimately, the journey is finding the compass within us …
‘Light entering the eye activates the body to keep us in a state of oneness with the universe… (it) is guiding us.”
with Theresa Sundt, Soozi Holbèche, Larry B. Wallace, Sarah Cobb, Brian Breiling, Wim Boeykens, Randi Marie Eide, Reiko Horiki, Anadi Martel and Liesbeth Huybrechts.
